A spate of updates of Blackboard tools were installed recently.
These updates fixed a number of lingering bugs, and added some much requested functionality.

Teams LX (Wiki):
- Fixed bugs, in particular the course linking issue
- Enhanced appearance

Journal LX (course blog):
- Enhanced appearance

Search LX:
- Improved, more thorough searching
- Enhanced appearance

Student Performance Assistant:
- Fixed image linking problem. Images now display correctly.
- Much faster page loads.
- Last access dates correctly reported on all pages.

After a careful evaluation of all the pros and cons presented during the Fall Semester pilot and of the attentiveness of the company to all of our concerns, the SafeAssignment Plagiarism Detection Plug-in for Blackboard has been licensed for this coming year.

This product helps prevent plagiarism and provides proof when a paper has been plagiarized –every paper submitted to Blackboard via SafeAssignment is automatically processed through a plagiarism detection system. SafeAssignment is fully compatible with all the the other Blackboard features and services.
